Broadband Light (BBL) is a safe and effective treatment that uses light to improve skin concerns such as sun damage, redness, broken capillaries, pigmentation, acne, and laxity. Additionally, it stimulates collagen growth to improve skin texture over time.
In addition to removing the dull, outer layers of skin, this hybrid fractional laser stimulates collagen and elastin production deep down, combining ablative and non-ablative wavelengths. 5-7 days are expected to pass as initial redness fades and the skin peels.
It takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete the BBL / HALO Laser Treatment. One hour before your treatment, you are anesthetized with topical numbing cream. After cleaning and preparing the skin for BBL, safety shields are put on the eyes. In the treatment, ultrasound gel is applied to the skin and a number of high-intensity light flashes are delivered to it within a short period of time. For each individual face, a HALO handpiece is used to scan the area, determine the treatment protocol, and then cleanse it.
